The phrase 'LoloBuy fees' often hides several different transactions. A buyer may see a seller's item price first, a payment total in another currency next, warehouse-related choices later and an international parcel quote only after packing data exists. Combining those stages too early creates a precise-looking number that is not actually complete.
LoloBuy's public website describes purchasing, warehouse inspection and photographs, storage and international shipping. Its public app listing also mentions payment and multi-currency support. Neither public description supplies one permanent fee percentage that can answer every order. The useful approach is a ledger that labels confirmed, estimated and unknown amounts separately.
Separate every charge before comparing totals.
Product ordering and international parcel shipping happen at different stages, so one headline price cannot describe the complete cost.
Source
Item price, option quantity and China-side delivery.
Payment
Displayed currency, conversion and payment total.
Warehouse
Only current, selected services or adjustments.
Parcel
Packed data, route, protection and destination costs.
01
Start with the exact source-order equation
Record the current item price for the selected variant, the number of units and any China-side delivery shown by the seller. Do not use the listing's lowest headline price until you have selected the intended size, colour, bundle or quantity tier. On multi-option pages, a deposit, accessory or smaller specification may control the first visible number.
Keep seller currency and date beside the value. If the listing changes, preserve the amount used when the order was created and compare it with any adjustment shown later. A spreadsheet price is a discovery note, not a guaranteed quote, and it should never silently overwrite the live order record.
- Selected-unit price
- Quantity
- China-side delivery
- Seller currency and date
- Adjustment or seller confirmation
02
Distinguish seller charges from platform charges
The product price and domestic delivery originate with the source transaction. A platform may display service, processing, payment or optional-service amounts, but those labels must be read from the current checkout rather than assumed from another agent or an old promotion. Put each visible line in its own ledger row and copy the label exactly.
If no separate service-fee line appears, do not conclude that every service is free. The total may reflect pricing or conversion in a different way, and later stages may carry their own costs. Conversely, do not invent a hidden percentage merely because a converted total differs from a spot-market calculation.
RELATED DECISION PATHS
Continue with the evidence that answers the next question.
These links sit inside the guide because each one covers a decision that follows directly from this step.
03
Measure currency conversion from the payable screen
When seller currency and payment currency differ, capture the source subtotal, displayed converted amount, timestamp and final amount charged by the payment method. Compare values from the same moment. Exchange markets move, and card issuers or wallets may apply their own conversion or cross-border terms outside the platform's displayed order.
Use the relationship between amounts as an observed effective rate, not as proof of a permanent markup. A one-order observation can include rounding, payment charges, coupons or adjustments. Label the result with method and date so future comparisons do not turn a temporary value into a published platform rule.
04
Keep optional warehouse services conditional
LoloBuy publicly confirms warehouse inspection and photographs, but the public homepage does not give a complete permanent menu or price for every extra image, measurement, video, packaging request or other service. Include a warehouse cost only when the current order offers it, you select it and the payable amount is shown.
Tie the purchase to a decision. An extra measurement can be valuable when it determines fit; an additional angle can matter when it resolves a visible defect. A generic request for more evidence may add cost without answering the question. Record both the amount and the uncertainty it is intended to remove.
05
Estimate international shipping without pretending it is final
Before packing, you may have product weights, seller dimensions or category averages. Treat them as ranges. International shipping can depend on destination, route eligibility, actual weight, dimensional weight, packed dimensions, product restrictions and current route charges. A universal per-kilogram claim leaves out the variables that often change the result.
Use a low, working and high scenario for planning. Replace estimates with prepared-parcel data as soon as it appears. Record which weight the route bills, what protection or packaging is selected, and whether a displayed amount excludes destination tax, customs handling, remote-area delivery or another local charge.
- Estimated item weight
- Expected packed volume
- Eligible route checked later
- Final billable weight
- Items not included in the quote
06
Compare consolidation and splitting by total outcome
One parcel can reduce repeated base charges, while a large or awkward parcel can increase dimensional weight or remove route options. Splitting can isolate restricted or fragile items but may duplicate packaging and minimum charges. Do not choose from item count alone. Compare the packed scenarios available for the actual destination and contents.
Write down the purpose of each split: route eligibility, storage timing, value concentration, fragility or size. If no practical constraint supports it, test the combined option. If one item changes the entire parcel's route or dimensions, compare it separately. The cheapest line item is not always the lowest complete cost.
07
Treat coupons as reductions, not as normal pricing
A coupon belongs in a separate negative row only after the current checkout accepts it and shows the reduced payable amount. Record code or promotion name privately, scope, expiry information displayed and the order or parcel stage where it applies. Do not publish an old promotional value as a permanent fee rule.
Compare totals before and after the discount. A large headline coupon may apply only above a threshold, to selected routes or to a limited account group. The net amount matters more than the marketing number, and a future order should be budgeted without assuming the same offer will return.
08
Finish with a confirmed-versus-estimated ledger
Use columns for stage, label, amount, currency, status, evidence and date. Mark values confirmed only when a live seller, order, payment or parcel record supports them. Mark early freight and destination charges estimated; mark unknown services as unknown rather than zero. This produces an honest total range before shipping and an auditable final total after delivery.
For comparison, calculate product cost, China-side cost, payment total, warehouse selections, international parcel cost and destination cost separately. Then divide by useful units only if that answers a decision. A cheap item with high packed volume can have a higher landed cost than a more expensive compact item, so the final ledger should guide future product selection as well as explain the current order.
