Extra QC evidence is valuable when it resolves a specific decision. It is wasteful when it simply adds another general photograph of the same surfaces. A shoe buyer may need the removable insole measured from heel to toe; a bag buyer may need the opening width; a garment buyer may need chest width between defined seams. 'Please take more photos' does not communicate any of those needs.

LoloBuy publicly says that warehouse arrivals are inspected and photographed. Its indexed public homepage does not specify a universal free-photo count, extra-photo price, measurement service or warehouse video fee. This guide therefore focuses on how to design a request and tells readers to confirm current availability and cost in the live order before relying on it.

ONE QUESTION PER IMAGE

Ask for an observable result, not simply more photos.

A useful request names the item, view, reference points and decision that the evidence will control.

01

Gap

Identify the material uncertainty in the existing set.

02

View

Specify angle, distance, lighting or ruler placement.

03

Reference

Name labels, edges or landmarks that must be visible.

04

Decision

Explain whether the result controls fit, return or shipping.

01

Review the existing set in a fixed order

Start with identity: product type, colour, labelled size, selected version, quantity and included parts. Move to condition: front, back, sides, corners, seams, closures and obvious damage. Then check category-specific details and measurements. A fixed order prevents a small cosmetic concern from hiding a wrong variant or missing component.

Write each uncertainty as known, contradicted or not shown. Do not request a new image for a fact already visible at adequate resolution. The list should isolate only the gaps that could alter an approve, clarify, exchange, return or parcel decision.

  • Identity and option
  • Quantity and included pieces
  • Visible condition
  • Critical measurements
  • Unseen or ambiguous decision points

02

Define the decision before defining the camera angle

State what you will do with each possible result. If an insole falls within your acceptable range, keep the shoes; if it is clearly outside, check the current return action. If a mark disappears under neutral light, treat it as an image artifact; if it remains visible, document condition. This makes the request proportionate.

Avoid asking the warehouse to judge subjective quality or authenticity. Ask for evidence it can observe: label text, ruler reading, seam alignment, hardware surface, missing part or damage location. You remain responsible for interpreting the result within the limits of a photograph.

RELATED DECISION PATHS

These links sit inside the guide because each one covers a decision that follows directly from this step.

03

Write a photo request with four coordinates

A clear request names the order or item, the required side or feature, the framing, and the reference. For example: photograph both shoe size labels together, close enough to read the complete tags, with the left and right shoes identified. For a bag corner, request a straight-on view under even light with the whole corner and adjacent seam visible.

Avoid relative phrases such as closer, better or same place. The photographer may not know which earlier image you mean or what detail matters. Reference the current photo number and describe the desired difference: wider view, perpendicular angle, reverse side, natural-light comparison or ruler aligned to named endpoints.

04

Control garment measurements

Specify that the garment should lie flat without stretching. Name the endpoints: chest width from armpit seam to armpit seam, shoulder width between shoulder seams, body length from a defined collar point to hem, sleeve length from the shoulder seam, or waist width across the waistband. Do not mix circumference with flat width.

Compare the warehouse method with the seller chart and your reference garment. A small difference can come from fabric tension, seam choice or ruler placement, so define an acceptable range before interpreting the image. If the endpoints are obscured or the ruler bends, the measurement does not support a precise conclusion.

05

Control footwear measurements

For shoes, label size and internal fit are separate evidence. When possible, request the removable insole placed flat with a ruler from heel edge to longest toe edge. If it cannot be removed, ask what measurement is actually feasible rather than treating outsole length as foot space. Photograph both size labels together when pair mismatch is the concern.

Compare the reading with an insole from a shoe that fits, measured by the same method. Do not choose from a generic conversion table alone. Shape, toe allowance and construction still affect fit, so the image reduces uncertainty without guaranteeing comfort.

06

Control bag, accessory and hardware views

For bags, name the dimension and whether it is measured externally: width at the base or widest point, height without handles, depth at the base, strap range or opening width. Ask for the tape or ruler to begin at a visible zero and remain in the same plane as the measured edge. Perspective can otherwise exaggerate the result.

For hardware, request the whole component plus a close detail under even light. A macro crop alone may make dust, reflections or tiny finish variation look severe. For accessories, include scale and attachment points. The goal is to show whether the part is present, aligned and visibly intact, not to produce a dramatic image.

07

Confirm availability, price and timing before relying on the request

Open the current warehouse order and check whether the specific photo, measurement or other inspection request is offered. Confirm the displayed amount, currency, expected handling and any deadline relevant to the current order. The public homepage does not support publishing a permanent number of free images or an extra-service price.

If the account does not offer the evidence, ask support what observable alternative is possible. Do not assume a video service exists or that an unlisted request will be free. Decide whether the remaining uncertainty is acceptable before the live return or parcel action changes.

  • Service currently shown
  • Exact request accepted
  • Displayed cost and currency
  • Relevant order deadline
  • Fallback if the evidence cannot be produced

08

Evaluate the result without moving the goalposts

When the new evidence arrives, compare it with the threshold you wrote first. Do not reject a measurement that falls within your range simply because the image reveals a new minor detail, and do not accept a material mismatch because you are tired of waiting. Record what the evidence resolved and what remains unknown.

Keep the original and extra images with the request text, date and final decision. This record makes a return inquiry clearer and improves future order notes. The best QC request is not the one with the most images; it is the smallest evidence set that supports a responsible decision.
